Successful second half to the season continues for the Boat Club: Recent success at Reading Amateur Regatta for the 1st VIII, then the 2nd Coxed Four and J15 B Coxed Four at Thames Valley Park Regatta, has ensured the season is ending on a high for the majority of PCBC crew members.

Our best National Schools Regatta for some years...... On a weekend which brought generally good weather to Nottingham, the Pangbourne College crews excelled at the main event of the season. Four crews reached the Grand Finals in their events, with the 2nd Four finishing 5th and the J15 eight improving race by race to finish in a creditable 4th place in the J15 Ist VIIIs class. Pride of place went to the 1st VIII however, who qualified directly for the final of Championship Eights with a powerful row in their heat, putting out defending champions Shrewsbury School, as well as Radley and Kings School Chester. In the final, they rowed from 5th place after a troubled start, to power through to a fine bronze medal, our first in the event for 6 years. The following day, the stern four of the crew took on the challenge of the Hedsor Cup for Championship Coxed Fours, going one better to win a superb silver.
